Gaunt & Sons of London and Birmingham, the label also bearing the identical number ‘84208’. As awarded to Private E.T. Smith, Motor Transport Section, Army Service Corps, discharged in May 1916. A superb example of type.
Condition: Nearly Extremely Fine.
Silver War Badge No.84208 was issued to Edward Theodore Smith, a Private (No.M2/149003) with a Motor Transport Company, Army Service Corps, who saw service overseas from 15 November 1915, and was discharged owing to sickness on 20 May 1916.
