Germany – Imperial: An impressive 1914 Patriotic Iron Cross Watch Chain fashioned for a member of the Kriegsmarine, and denoted as such by the incorporation of a naval anchor, torpedo, and a naval shell. Produced in a plated copper alloy, the ‘1914’ dated Iron Cross symbol is enamelled in the centre. This impressive piece of First World War patriotic insignia, measuring outstretched approximately 250 mm.
Condition: light damage to the enamel work, overall wear conducive to age and handling, Very Fine.
