Germany – Third Reich: Wehrmacht Heer Army Enlisted Man / NCO’s Belt Buckle, 1937 2nd Pattern type made pre-1940 from die-struck aluminium with a pebbled background. Of two part construction, the centre piece bearing the Wehrmacht eagle and inscription motto: “Gott Mit Uns” (God With Us), has a baked on brown finish to reduce glare. No manufacturing or patent marks visible. Non magnetic steel steel buckle rod. A relatively unusual example of type.
Condition: evidence of wear, usage and handling, overall Fair condition.
