Germany – Weimar Republic period (1919-1933): Post-WW1 Prussian Warrior League (Preussischer Landes-Kriegerverband) Veteran’s 25 Year Membership Badge, in complete form with enamelled tombak copper alloy central shield bearing the eagle of Prussia, this surmounted by a silver-washed alloy and enamel pin badge, this with the Prussian State Crown and the number ’25’, the reverse of this bearing the makers details ‘HCH TIMM BERLIN C 19’ this being Heinrich Timm of Berlin, and beneath the shield in Prussian colours of black and white are a pair of ribbons with affixed pressed alloy tassels in a silver wash, one ribbon bearing the wording: ‘Preussischer Landes-Kriegerverband’. A superb example of type.
Condition: enamel work good, wash mostly present, overall Good Very Fine.
